I AM LOOKING FOR THESE BELT BUCKLE!!!
I thought I was down to my last buckle when I received an e-mail from an Ent named Jan Boom Fangorn informing me that I was indeed missing several buckles. So in addition to the Saruman belt buckle to finish the complete LOTR set as I believe it to be. I am also looking for the buckles listed below. These buckles were made in 1975 by the Lewis Buckle Co. 1979 by the Great American Buckle Co., by the The McCann and Perth Buckle Cos.  I am interested in purchasing all the buckles from any of the companies.  I am also interested in any information on any of the sets.  I can be reached at the contact information at the top right hand corner of this page.

FROM THIS POINT ON THESE ARE ALL BUCKLES THAT I HAVE. HOWEVER I AM DEFINITELY NOT AGAINST BUYING DOUBLES ON ANY OF THEM. IF ANYONE HAS A BETTER SUGGESTION FOR THE SONG THAN LED ZEPPELIN'S RAMBLE ON I AM OPEN TO IDEAS.

THIS GREAT VINTAGE BELT BUCKLE FROM 1975 WAS MADE BY THE LEWIS BUCKLE CO. FEATURES BILBO BAGGINS SMOKING A PIPE. IT HAS A VERSE ON THE BACK THAT READS," BY SOME CURIOUS CHANCE ONE MORNING LONG AGO IN THE QUIET OF THE WORLD WHEN THERE WAS LESS NOISE AND MORE GREEN AND THE HOBBITS WERE STILL NUMEROUS AND PROSPEROUS AND BILBO BAGGINS WAS SITTING AT HIS DOOR AFTER BREAKFAST SMOKING AN ENORMOUS LONG WOODEN PIPE THAT REACHED NEARLY DOWN TO HIS WOOLY TOES (NEATLY BRUSHED) GANDALF CAME BY...."

THE ONE THAT STARTED IT ALL!!!
I bought the original buckle called Isildur's Bane at a thrift center because I liked it.

Then like a fool I wore it to work and ruined it. I looked for a long time to find a replacement. I finally found one and started this collection.

Now I have five, one Lewis Pewter buckle, one Brass and Pewter Great American for the collection, and two Lewis Pewter buckles to wear.

Now these four buckles are a set from the 1979 Tolkien Enterprises. I believe they were released with the cartoon version of The Hobbit. They are normally available on EBay  and come in the boxes. I do not have the round version.

The round Gandalf belt buckle on the left is made by the John E. McCann Buckle  Co. of Wenham, MA. And I need the Bilbo and Frodo versions to go with Gandalf. These buckles are made of pewter as a lot of these buckles are.

 The next Gandalf buckle  is made by The Perth Buckle  Co. in 1978

The other buckle is just a cool looking wizard type buckle that could be Gandalf or even  Merlin maybe. It is a 1979 version N-145 from the Bergamont Brass Works even though this buckle appears to be made of pewter.

And the last buckle is a brass Merlin made by The Beardsley Buckle Co. of Bloomington, Indiana.
